Job Opportunity: MRI Radiographer Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Radiographer Specialist to join our team at a leading healthcare provider. As a Specialist MRI Radiographer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality MRI scans and providing exceptional patient care.

About the Role

This is a permanent position, working 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with an on-call aspect covering weekday and Saturday lists. You will be working in a state-of-the-art facility with access to the latest technology and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality MRI scans, including MSK and Orthopaedics, urology, and GI MRI studies
  • Provide exceptional patient care and ensure a safe and comfortable experience for all patients
  • Work collaboratively with the MRI team to ensure efficient and effective scanning processes
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to maintain and enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • HCPC registration as an MRI Radiographer
  • Experience working as a band 6 or band 7 in a UK-based MRI department
  • Strong background in MSK and Orthopaedics, with a deep understanding of MRI safety and protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
