We are seeking a skilled Dental Nurse to join our team at Medway Community Healthcare. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to work with us in providing high-quality care to patients.

About the Role

This full-time position involves working as part of a dynamic dental team, providing support to dentists and colleagues in a clinic setting. You will be responsible for assisting patients who may have difficulty accepting treatment, building trust and rapport with them, and providing basic advice and reassurance when needed.

You will also be involved in preparing patients for treatment, moving and handling patients as required, and maintaining their comfort and dignity at all times.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, be able to communicate effectively with patients who may have complex medical conditions, and demonstrate a flexible approach to working sessions.

Requirements
  • A qualified dental nurse with NEBDN Certificate in Dental Nursing or equivalent;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients;
  • Flexibility to work in all dental departments/clinics, including emergency situations;
  • Ability to adapt to working with different members of the team and maintain clinical skills throughout professional career.
Salary and Benefits

Approximately £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
