Senior R&D Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior R&D Engineer to join our team in Neath, on a full-time, permanent basis.

Marston Holdings is a leading supplier of intelligent traffic enforcement and management solutions, and we are expanding our Technology side of the business. We have attained Videalert and Vortex, and we are looking for a talented individual to help us drive real environmental change by leveraging the power of real-time data with cleantech technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, test, debug, and prototype new PCBs for electronics hardware.
  • Develop firmware for embedded devices and monitor their performance.
  • Collaborate with other R&D departments, including Software, Product Design, QA, Procurement, and Production.
  • Have 5+ years of industrial/project experience in working with Embedded Systems, Programmable Logic Controllers, and commercial product development.
  • Have a clear understanding of computer communication networks, IP v4/v6, CoAP, UDP, TCP, and relevant network diagnostics.
  • Familiarity with Computer Networks, Communication Protocols, Network Configuration with Windows and Linux platforms, and Low-power RF Networks.

  • Salary: £55,000 to £75,000 per annum DOE.
