Senior R&D Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior R&D Engineer to join our team at Marston Holdings Ltd in Neath. As a key member of our Technology department, you will play a crucial role in the development of our intelligent traffic enforcement and management solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, test, and prototype new electronics hardware.
  • Develop and program firmware for embedded devices.
  • Monitor the performance of hardware and firmware releases.
  • Collaborate with other R&D departments, including Software, Product Design, QA, Procurement, and Production.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of industrial/project experience in working with Embedded Systems, Programmable Logic Controllers, and commercial product development.
  • A clear understanding of computer communication networks, IP v4/v6, CoAP, UDP, TCP, and relevant network diagnostics.
  • Familiarity with Computer Networks, Communication Protocols, Network Configuration with Windows and Linux platforms, and Low-power RF Networks.

  • Salary: £55,000 to £75,000 per annum DOE.
