  • Experience in supporting young people with autism and additional learning difficulties
  • School experience
  • References covering the last two years (no gaps)
  • Current DBS on the update service or willing to take one out

Responsibilities

Your duties as a SEN teaching assistant will include:

  • Supporting pupils in educational settings
  • Assisting with lesson planning and preparation
  • Working with pupils in small groups or individually
  • Providing emotional support and encouragement
  • Helping with administrative tasks and record-keeping
