Procurement Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and talented Procurement Apprentice to join our team at Megger. As a global operator, we are strategically located in over 100 countries, employing more than 1,500 employees. Our aim is to ensure everyone can live confidently and work safely, with the energies which power our world.
The successful candidate will support a busy Procurement department in ensuring we maintain continuity of supply to our customers with minimal stock outs. Key responsibilities include ensuring purchase orders are raised in accordance with Material Requirement Planning (MRP) demands, maintaining accurate delivery schedules in line with business needs, and monitoring & tracking shipments.
As a Procurement Apprentice, you will undertake a Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship programme for the duration of up to 17 months which includes the End Point Assessment. You will also be expected to undertake learning activities to support your development and future career progression.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- PC Experience including Microsoft packages, Excel & Outlook an advantage
- Working knowledge of SAP or another ERP system an advantage
