About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Chef to join our team at The Disabilities Trust. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality meals for our residents with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook nutritious meals for our residents, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Ensure a high level of service for all meal times, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Supervise the catering functions within the service, adhering to all statutory requirements and good practices.
  • Communicate effectively with residents to ensure their dietary needs are met, and actively support and promote decisions and initiatives by the Manager.
  • Audit compliance of standards within the kitchen, maintaining the standard of health and hygiene as the Chef.
