Electronics Repair Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Repair Specialist to join our dynamic team at Megger. As a key member of our repair centre, you will be responsible for testing, fault-finding, and repairing a variety of electronic products returned by our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Repair and calibration of electrical/electronic instrumentation.
  • Fault-finding and repair to component level.
  • Raising requisitions for replacement components as required.
  • Supporting an international network of Megger approved repair centres.
  • Ensuring correct usage of high voltage test equipment.
  • Producing fault reports and inputting correct data into the Repairs database.
  • Representing the Repairs department in new product development project teams.
Qualifications/Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in electronic repairs or a related field.
  • Relevant technical qualification or certification in electronics is preferred.
  • Proficiency in testing, diagnosing, and repairing electronic products.
  • Experience with high voltage would be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
