Job Title: Electronics Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Specialist to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited. As an Electronics Specialist, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining two-way radio communications systems for various clients.

The Role:
  • Site Service Engineer: Provide technical support and maintenance for two-way radio systems at client sites.
  • Setting up Two Way Radio Communications: Install and configure two-way radio systems for clients.
  • Supporting Local Councils, Police, and Retailers: Offer technical assistance and support to local councils, police, and retailers.
  • Basic Two-way Radio Repair: Perform basic repairs and maintenance on two-way radio equipment.
  • Set up of Two Way Radio Systems on various sites: Install and configure two-way radio systems at various client sites.
  • Routine Maintenance of Radio Systems: Perform routine maintenance and checks on two-way radio systems.
  • Occasional paid overnight travel to different UK regions: Travel to different regions in the UK for work-related purposes.
  • Assisting with the leasing and rental of Radio equipment: Assist clients with leasing and renting radio equipment.
  • Radio Equipment Testing: Test and inspect radio equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly.
  • Configuring electronics and communication on both land and at sea: Configure and set up electronics and communication systems for clients.
  • Provide procurement and maintenance services to users of marine navigational equipment, including shore-based radar and radio communications.
  • Occasional CCTV Setup: Set up CCTV systems for clients.
The Person:
  • Technical person with a keen interest in Electronics or Electrical Qualification: Possess a strong technical background and interest in electronics or electrical engineering.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence: Hold a valid UK driving license.
