Job Description

Role Summary:

Hirecracker is seeking a skilled Asset Integrity Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Asset Integrity Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the safety and reliability of our assets, ensuring exceptional service for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold life-saving rules, ensuring all activities are conducted safely and providing expert advice to production and national engineering leaders.
  • Review, assess, and update integrity management and inspection data for pressure systems, pipelines, and structures, including risk assessments and Written Schemes of Examination.
  • Evaluate inspection reports, verify compliance, and determine necessary remedial work.
  • Conduct engineering assessments to determine equipment fitness for service, specifying additional inspections or controls as needed.
  • Evaluate the performance and competence of Inspection and NDT contractors, providing feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to professional standards, hazard identification, risk management, and sustainable development.

Requirements:

  • HND/Degree in a relevant engineering discipline, working towards Chartered Engineer status.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles and integrity management systems.
  • Expertise in inspection or testing fields such as pressure vessel examination, piping, or NDT.
  • Experience with high hazard process plants, process safety, and COMAH Regulations.
  • Proficiency in integrity analysis techniques such as fitness for service assessment and root cause analysis.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK.
