Job Description

**Accounts Payable Assistant**

We are seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Assistant. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a vital role in supporting the processing of invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
  • Accurately input financial data into our accounting system, maintaining up-to-date records.
  • Support the finance team in performing bank reconciliations, identifying and correcting any discrepancies.
  • Assist in the management of accounts payable and receivable, including processing payments and chasing outstanding debts.
Requirements:
  • Studying towards an AAT qualification.
  • No prior experience in finance is required; however, a strong interest in pursuing a career in this field is essential.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work well within a team.
