About the RoleWe are seeking a qualified teacher with a specialization in art or a related subject who has experience teaching students with SEN. Your ability to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated art lessons that cater to the unique needs of each student will be essential in fostering creativity and self-expression. Additionally, your capacity to work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and other staff to provide a holistic and supportive educational experience will be vital in supporting the emotional well-being and social development of your students.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching and Lesson Planning: Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated art lessons designed to meet the needs of students with SEN.
- Fostering Creativity: Foster creativity, self-expression, and confidence in students through a variety of artistic mediums and projects.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and other staff to provide a holistic and supportive educational experience.
- Competitive Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
