Project Cost Capability Lead

Babcock International Group is seeking a highly skilled Project Cost Capability Lead to join our team in Bristol, UK. As a key member of our Mission Systems business, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining a strong project estimating and cost management community, capability, and culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the community of individuals specialized in estimating and cost management, including professional development, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Work with the PM&PC Function Operations Lead to generate a pipeline of suitably qualified and experienced estimating and cost management professionals.
  • Develop and maintain a strong project estimating and cost management community, capability, and culture.
Requirements
  • Significant experience of project estimating and cost management/control techniques and approaches, including estimating, forecasting, performance reporting, and quantitative risk analysis.
  • Comprehensive experience of delivering/leading estimating and cost management within projects and programmes for large and technically complex equipment or system delivery contracts.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to interact successfully at all levels.
