Job Title: SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated graduate teaching assistant to join our team at a special needs school in Wandsworth. The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting pupils with sensory needs and a strong desire to make a positive impact on their lives.

About the Role:

The role involves working one-to-one with pupils who have visual impairments and additional needs. You will be part of a large team that provides a supportive and inclusive environment for all pupils. The school follows a holistic curriculum that allows children to have fun and achieve their full potential.

This highly respected specialist SEND school is based in South West London and offers an environment where pupils from 2-19 years with PMLD and sensory needs can develop and explore their talents and potential. The school has excellent facilities and a range of indoor and outdoor learning spaces.

Requirements:
  • Graduate degree in a relevant field
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs
  • Confidence in managing challenging behaviour
  • Ability to engage and support pupils with alternative communication methods
