About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Gray Healthcare. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to an individual with complex needs and disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 support to an individual with Frontal Lobe Damage and Learning Disabilities, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, medication management, and household chores.
  • Support the individual in accessing community resources and engaging in activities that promote social interaction and stimulation.
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Contribute to a safe and respectful environment, adhering to Gray Healthcare's policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Full UK Driving License (essential)
  • Social care experience, preferably in mental health, with a focus on supporting individuals with complex needs.
  • Experience working with individuals with challenging behaviors and implementing risk assessments.
  • Current Right to Work in the UK and at least 6 months of employment in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
