We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join our team in York. As a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial advisors in delivering bespoke solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collate and interpret client information to contribute to the formulation of suitable strategies to meet client objectives.
  • Prepare suitability reports that reflect the proposed strategy.
  • Identify disadvantages in the solutions proposed for clients and escalate issues as required.
  • Provide technical, research, and administrative support to financial advisors.
  • Produce compliant and detailed client suitability reports and presentations.
  • Liaise with advisers on a regular basis to work on cases and provide updates.
  • Prioritize workload to meet all deadlines.
Requirements
  • Good knowledge across all advice areas (investment, pensions, protection, but not mortgages or group risk).
  • A strong interest in compliance and willingness to perform compliance support role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of the financial planning process and a knowledge of the financial services world.
  • Excellent report writing skills and high technical knowledge.
