Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Substance Misuse Recovery Worker to join our team in Cambridgeshire. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals recovering from substance misuse.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To work closely with the Cambridgeshire Recovery Service team to promote recovery and provide support to service users on a group and one-to-one basis.
  • To guide service users in achieving their goals and building recovery capital, including signposting them to attend mutual aid groups or appointments.
  • To assist service users in building their own recovery community.
  • To make telephone calls to service users, providing them with a listening ear, guidance, and support.

Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this volunteering role.

Estimated Salary Range: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
