SEN Teacher and Curriculum Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated School Teacher with SEN Experience to join our team as a Post 16 Teacher. The successful applicant will work with students aged 4-19 who have a diagnosis of ASD and an EHCP, providing individualized learning plans to enhance their engagement in life skills.
The role involves developing and implementing unique enabling environments, both indoor and outdoor, to maximize learning opportunities and meet pupils' specific needs. The curriculum allows students to gain independence and life skills, preparing them for adulthood through education and employment, healthy lifestyles, friendships, and independent living.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans for students
- Foster a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere
- Monitor and assess student progress
- Engage with parents and caregivers
- Work with local organizations to develop and integrate students into the local community
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of ASD and SLD students
- Experience working in a special needs education setting
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per year, depending on experience
