Nursery Learning and Care Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Nursery Learning and Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the nursery team, you will be responsible for leading the planning and delivery of ELC in our school settings.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of childhood development and education, with experience in mentoring and supporting staff. You will also be required to work closely with Primary 1 staff to ensure a smooth transition process for children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and delivery of ELC in the nursery settings
  • Mentor and support all staff members
  • Work with Primary 1 staff for transition purposes

Requirements:

  • HNC in Childhood Practice or related field
  • SVQ Social Services (Children & Young People) or equivalent
  • Registration with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)

Salary: £15.71 per hour pro-rata, annual salary £24,132 - £30,032 based on 35 hours per week
