Job Title: Advanced Physiotherapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Physiotherapist to join our Specialist Oncology team at The Christie Private Care, Manchester. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality physiotherapy assessment and treatment to support patients at every stage of their cancer journey.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join our innovative and expanding oncology AHP team. You will work independently as an autonomous practitioner, developing your skills and expertise in oncology physiotherapy. The role involves seeing private in-patients and out-patients across a variety of settings at TCPC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality physiotherapy assessment and treatment to patients with cancer and related conditions
  • Work independently as an autonomous practitioner, developing your skills and expertise in oncology physiotherapy
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to support patients at every stage of their cancer journey
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support for patients
  • Contribute to the evaluation and development of clinical practice and service expansion

Requirements:

  • HCPC Registration
  • Physiotherapy degree qualification or equivalent
  • Post-registration specialist clinical experience working in Oncology and/or Haematology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion and interest in cancer care
