Job Description

Accelerate CIC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Chronic Oedema Specialist. This exciting role will involve working with patients who require advanced care and management for chronic oedema and lymphoedema.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced care and management for patients with chronic oedema and lymphoedema.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and management.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

  • First-level Registered Nurse or equivalent with current NMC qualification or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years nursing experience post-qualification with experience of community management, clinical experience of patients with long-term conditions, and knowledge of chronic oedema treatment and compression therapies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
  • Familiarity with electronic records systems and data capture in various formats.
