As a Senior Standards Payments Specialist, you'll play a key part in our world-class organization, working closely with our teams to design, build, maintain, and promote standards for the financial industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the implementation of ISO 20022 and cross-border payment standards, ensuring flawless execution.
  • Lead working groups to successfully implement new market practices and international standards.
  • Collaborate with various departments to develop and refine APIs.
  • Collaborate with financial institutions, service providers, and industry associations to identify effective strategies and promote the adoption of industry standards.
  • Analyze and interpret complex financial data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our financial messaging services, ensuring they remain competitive and world-class.
  • Report directly to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for enhancing our service offerings.

Requirements

  • A degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in the financial industry, ideally in an operational or business analyst role.
  • Proven understanding of ISO 20022 and cross-border payments.
  • Familiarity with international standards and their impact on the financial system.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience running working groups.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
