About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SEO Content Strategist to lead our organic growth strategies for commerce. This role will involve managing long-life content strategies, working closely with writers and sub-editors, identifying new opportunities, and reporting on performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project manage evergreen content strategies, planning, briefing, and optimising content for multiple verticals.
  • Analyse content performance across Recommended and other ad hoc evergreen categories to continually optimise performance.
  • Collaborate with writing teams, providing SEO advice, training sessions, options, and optimisations.
  • Work with the technical SEO team to create product improvements from a technical perspective.
  • Drive commercial and revenue-based KPIs, understanding the impact of decisions made at the top of the funnel.
  • Stay up-to-date with the world of SEO, attending events, and staying ahead of the search engine ecosystem.
Requirements
  • Strong project management skills.
  • A thorough understanding of Google, Google Discover, and how SEO works.
  • Experience managing SEO content projects from inception to completion.
  • An analytical and data-driven approach to surfacing content opportunities, trending topics, delivering actionable insights, and identifying opportunities.
  • Numerate and fluent in aggregating and analysing core campaign performance metrics.
  • Experience with affiliate marketing.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Analytics, Pi-data metrics, and/or Lumar is desirable.
  • A good understanding of technical SEO is also desirable.About EngineeringUK

    Salary and Benefits

    The salary for this role is £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including access to professional development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a competitive pension scheme.
