About the RoleAs a Specialist Senior Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing specialist occupational therapy services to individuals with complex mental health needs. You will work closely with the Lead Occupational Therapist and Highly Specialist Senior OT to drive the occupational therapy strategy forward, contributing to continual quality improvement and service innovation.
You will be expected to support the development and training of OT students, as well as contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy services within the division. You will also be responsible for a small team and the overall development of the occupational therapy service within the division.

About the CharitySt Andrew's Healthcare is a mental health charity that inspires hope. We work together with a number of organisations to transform the lives of people with complex mental health needs. We provide specialist mental healthcare and deliver a range of inpatient and community mental healthcare services, education, and research that helps to improve lives.
Requirements- Minimum of 12 months experience as an occupational therapist.
- Evidence of line management responsibilities.
- Willingness to continue to work to standards of proficiency identified by HCPC and regulatory bodies.
- Deliver clinical treatments to a specialist standard and to enhance engagement outcome measures.
- Knowledge of learning disability and/or Autism is essential, experience in these areas would be desirable.
- Experience working in DBT/Forensic services/secure services would be desirable.
- Experience of sensory integration would be desirable but essential.
- Evidence of supporting and development within quality assurance; continuous quality improvement projects, auditing, service development.
