We are seeking an experienced HCPC registered Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to lead the delivery of a high-quality accessible and inclusive psychological service for individuals experiencing homelessness and substance use. The successful candidate will promote trauma-informed practice within the team and wider services through consultation, clinical supervision, case management, training, reflective practice, and research. Under their guidance, services will offer a range of evidence-based psychological and evidence-informed psychosocial interventions relevant to address the complexity experienced within this population. The post holder will join a supportive group of qualified Clinical and Counselling Psychologists as part of the charity's Psychology Directorate for peer supervision and CPD opportunities. Regular clinical supervision will be provided by the National Psychology Lead.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement trauma-informed practice within the team and wider services
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to team members
  • Lead the development of evidence-based psychological and psychosocial interventions
  • Collaborate with the National Psychology Lead for regular supervision
Requirements:
  • HCPC registration as a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist
  • Experience in delivering psychological services to individuals experiencing homelessness and substance use
  • Strong leadership and clinical skills
  • Ability to promote trauma-informed practice
