Pursuing a career as a Senior Payments Architect at Pay Limited offers a unique opportunity to shape the company's vision and strategy for its payment systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the end-to-end payments enterprise architecture strategy and policy.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial services and the payments sector, with a solid understanding of the retail payments industry, including payments clearing and settlement, fraud, data and relevant regulation and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the end-to-end payments enterprise architecture strategy and policy.
  • Responsible for design governance and oversight for BAU and project change.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the end-to-end payments landscape (both domestic and international) combining insights and data internally across Pay Limited.
  • Ensure enterprise data requirements are defined and consistent across the ecosystem, and conform to all relevant rules and standards.
  • Assess the fitness of the enterprise architecture and analyses potential future enhancements and innovations.

Requirements:

  • Degree educated, or equivalent and relevant work experience.
  • Professional credentials are necessary, accompanied by a solid grasp of financial services and the payments sector.
  • Understanding of the retail payments industry including payments clearing and settlement, fraud, data and relevant regulation and industry standards.
  • Extensive expertise in the design, development, integration, and testing of enterprise architectural frameworks.
  • Experience in short-term and long-range enterprise strategic planning, budgeting, systems analysis and design.
  • Software architectural design, development, integration, and testing.
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects or initiatives while maintaining attention to detail.

Salary: Estimated at £100,000-£120,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Working Arrangements: We offer flexible working arrangements, with a minimum of 40% of your working week spent in the office.
