An exciting opportunity has arisen to contribute to our team in Community Paediatrics at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust. This fixed-term role combines clinical work with research in neurodevelopment, providing a unique chance to develop your skills and expertise.

We are seeking a full-time Clinical Fellow/Speciality Doctor with a strong interest in Community Paediatrics and research at The Synapse Centre for Neurodevelopment and Colchester Hospital. This hybrid post offers a mix of clinical and research responsibilities, with dedicated time for both.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years post-graduate experience and a strong background in paediatrics. Key elements of the post include:

  1. A 10PA full-time contract
  2. A mixed caseload of neurobehavioural and neurodevelopmental cases
  3. Child development assessments
  4. Participation in safeguarding clinic rota
  5. Clinical/educational supervision of Paediatric SpRs (core/higher trainees)

Full GMC registration is required, and candidates must be up to date with Level 3 Safeguarding with at least 4 years post-graduate training, ideally with up to 12 months experience in community paediatrics.
