Social Worker Specialist

CV-Library is hiring a Social Worker to join their team as a Locum on a flexible basis in the Southwest of England. This role involves undertaking care proceedings within a court setting and initiating permanency plans for children.
About the JobThis position requires you to work with the Children's Family Safeguarding Team, undertaking complex cases and providing evidence-based interventions. You will be responsible for understanding and responding to risks, ensuring that records are up-to-date and accurate.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake Care Proceedings within a Court setting, both private and public.
- Initiate and complete permanency plans for children including adoption.
- Understand and respond to complexity of risks and are required to evidence on records, including providing analysis of their interventions with children and families.
The ideal candidate will have direct experience of working within Children's Social Work and be registered to Social Work England. They must also have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and completed an ASYE.
