Wine Experience Program


Domaine Roy & fils, an estate winery, is seeking an exceptional Estates Associate to join our team. As part of our Wine Experience Program, you will deliver unparalleled guest experiences in our tasting room, providing personalized service in person, over the phone, and via email.



Key Responsibilities


  • Guest Experience: Host wine tastings with enthusiasm and expertise, sharing the winery's story in a way that connects with guests.
  • Sales and Upselling: Focus on achieving individual and team sales goals by promoting wine sales, wine club memberships, and events.
  • Tasting Room Operations: Perform daily opening and closing duties, including cleaning, polishing glassware, restocking wine, inventory management, and keeping the tasting room organized.
  • Reservation and Order Management: Accurately process reservations, sales, and orders using our POS system. Handle shipping requests and demonstrate an understanding of all shipping protocols.
  • CRM and Administration: Maintain, build, and utilize Domaine Roy's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database.
  • Networking and Representation: Represent Domaine Roy at industry events and strengthen our referral network through local outreach. Stay up-to-date on local wineries, lodging, and dining options to offer concierge-level service to guests.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with guests about food, wine, and local dining recommendations, creating lasting connections and enhancing the overall experience.


Requirements


  • 2+ years of experience in a winery or wine-focused restaurant.
  • Familiarity with the Oregon wine industry and a strong passion for wine and hospitality.
  • Valid OLCC Alcohol Server Permit and Oregon Food Handlers License.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with TOCK and Wine Direct is a plus.
  • Enthusiastic about learning and developing expertise in wine.


Work Environment


  • 30-40 hours per week, with weekend availability required.
