Technical Compliance Engineer

Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) is a leading provider of testing and certification services for the gaming industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Compliance Engineer to join our team in the UK.

About the Role

The Technical Compliance Engineer will be responsible for providing technical consulting services to regulators, manufacturers, and engineering staff. This includes reviewing and evaluating technical matters related to gaming regulatory compliance, acting as a technical conduit between regulators and laboratory testing, and providing technical training and workshops to internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide customer service and support to regulators and suppliers
  • Conduct evaluations of submission files, identifying areas of regulatory concern and providing related determinations
  • Perform outgoing reviews and technical evaluations
  • Develop certification report disclosures
  • Maintain current regulations, jurisdictional profiles, and industry technical standards
  • Work with engineering groups on regulatory technical questions and issues
  • Provide technical training and workshops to internal and external customers
Requirements
  • Two- or four-year degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent technical background
  • Formal training, experience, or demonstrated competency may be evaluated and considered acceptable in lieu of educational requirements
  • Good analytical skills, written and oral communication skills, and ability to quickly assess issues and find solutions
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and a valid driver's license
