Regional Sales Manager Opportunity

Our client, a reputable food business, is seeking a skilled Regional Sales Manager to join their team in the South West region of England. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding the company's presence in the Foodservice channel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives within the assigned region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base and increase market share.
  • Manage and motivate a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure they meet their targets.
  • Monitor market trends, analyse sales data, and prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market conditions.
  • Manage the regional sales budget, ensuring effective use of resources to achieve the best return on investment.
  • Work closely with the marketing, operations, and product development teams to align sales strategies with overall company goals.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working within Food, Beverage, or FMCG sales.
  • Strong knowledge of the Foodservice Market.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to demonstrate delivering results.
  • Track record of winning key accounts and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Structured approach with a clear view on hitting targets.
  • Full UK driving licence.
