Freelance Interpreter for Public and Private Sectors

We are seeking a skilled interpreter to work with our clients in various settings, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other public and private organizations.
As a freelancer, you will have the flexibility to choose your own schedule and work from the comfort of your own home.
Language Empire provides professional interpreting and translation services to the public and private sectors across the UK. We have been offering our services for over 20 years, covering hundreds of languages and dialects.
Your role will involve interpreting for people using legal, health, and local government services, as well as checking the non-English speakers' understanding after each sentence. You will also be required to deal with highly confidential information and liaise between the service user and service provider.
Requirements include being fluent in English and another language, having the right to work in the UK, and being aged 21 or over. Formal qualifications such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) or a Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages are advantageous.
