We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join an experienced manufacturing team that provides parts and components that require a high level of accuracy to external customers and our busy production, maintenance, repair, and overhaul teams internally.

**Primary Tasks**

Main tasks will include but are not limited to:

- Ensuring all inspection stages are completed within a timely manner, in line with schedule and that the quality of the work produced is in accordance with our engineering data and procedures
- Liaising with the Production Manager to ensure that all inspection tasks are completed on time and to budget in accordance with the regulatory airworthiness design, quality requirements, and the agreed program plan
- Ensuring that production matters that relate to airworthiness of the product are reported to the appropriate departments to ensure compliance with requirements
- Ensuring tools, jigs, and fixtures are calibrated in accordance with BN procedures and a register maintained.
- Obtain quotes from calibration and new tool suppliers to raise the purchase requests.
- Driving cost efficiency and increasing team performance to maximise profits using industry standard continuous improvement techniques
- Be a quality stamp holder for the business in respect of work completed

**Minimum Qualification Requirements**:

- Further education in engineering discipline

**Required Experience**
- Minimum of 5 years in aerospace or manufacturing environment
- Understanding of ISO 9000 regulations
- Experience in aircraft component manufacture

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
