Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Process Engineer to join our team in Plymouth. As a SDDP Engineer - Mechanical Process, you will assist the Design Manager in delivering project scope and manage the delivery of nuclear process work packages.

About the Role
The successful candidate will have experience in process and mechanical engineering, with a degree or equivalent in an engineering-related discipline. You will be responsible for managing technical aspects of nuclear process engineering packages, ensuring design documentation meets project requirements, and planning for effective project implementation. Additionally, you will need to identify key factors and lead the project's technical planning process, ensuring that processes and activities are appropriately documented.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have relevant knowledge and skills required in the technical management of complex design development throughout the design lifecycle. Familiarity with pipework systems designs and experience in high-hazard industries, preferably in nuclear, is also essential. Please note that due to the security nature of this role, we can only consider sole British nationals who have lived in the UK in the last 5 years and are eligible for SC security clearance.

Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
