Job Summary

We are looking for a Clinical Microbiologist to join our team at The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust. As a Clinical Microbiologist, you will be responsible for contributing to our 24-hour Clinical Infection Service alongside a strong multidisciplinary team.

You will work effectively alongside clinical colleagues to provide a comprehensive infection service, including provision of clinical advice, authorization and interpretation of laboratory results, supervision and liaison with the laboratory team, and working effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of complex and interesting cases, including those from The Mid Yorkshire Regional Adult Burns Centre and Regional Childrens Burns Unit.

This is a replacement post offered on a full-time basis, although less than full-time applications will be considered.
