Veterinary Theatre Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our Theatre Team at Pride Veterinary Referrals. As a Referral Theatre Nurse, you will work closely with specialist referral clinicians from various disciplines, providing anaesthesia and sedation for other services. Our team is committed to delivering a gold standard of care, and we encourage our RVNs to pursue further qualifications.
About Our Team and HospitalOur Theatre Team consists of 8 Theatre Nurses, 6 Theatre Supports, and a large team of Surgeons from soft tissue, orthopaedics, neurology, and ophthalmology. We have 5 theatres, with plans to expand to 7 next year, and advanced imaging facilities. We pride ourselves on maintaining a friendly and supportive culture with a focus on development, clinical excellence, and patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with specialist referral clinicians to provide anaesthesia and sedation for other services
- Contribute to delivering a gold standard of care
- Support the development of our RVNs
We work a 4-day week averaging 38 hours with 1:6 weekends. Shift times typically range from 7:30am to 7:30pm, with an on-call rota for referral anaesthesia/theatre cases.
