About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Functional Safety Engineer to join our team at Arm. As a key member of our Quality Group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and quality of our products.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting Arm Automotive projects from early development to successful assessment and certification. You will work closely with engineering, product security, and functional safety experts to establish an aligned and seamless workflow between multiple subject areas, processes, and requirements.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support Arm Automotive projects from early development to successful assessment and certification.
  2. Develop and implement robust development processes to achieve efficiency and excellence across Arm solutions, hardware, and software.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality, safety, and cybersecurity risks.
  4. Foster a culture of quality, safety, and cybersecurity within the organization.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in functional safety, quality, and cybersecurity.
  • PRACTICAL knowledge of functional safety, quality, and cybersecurity standards such as ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, IEC 61508, ASPICE, etc. and their application to semiconductors lifecycle.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
