An exciting new opportunity has emerged for a dedicated Theatre Nurse to work in a leading UK healthcare provider.

This position involves working in an advanced specialist eye healthcare service based in the Derby area, providing patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing high-quality patient care is a top priority
  • Preparing the operating room and equipment for surgeries is essential
  • Monitoring patients' vital signs and ensuring their comfort and safety are critical tasks
  • Administering medications as directed by the surgeon or anaesthesiologist is a key responsibility
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of patient information and surgical procedures is vital
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes is essential
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Passionate about developing a career in Ophthalmology
  • Ability to absorb and convey highly technical information
  • Adaptable with a flexible approach to work
  • Strong organisational skills attention to detail with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Demonstrate confidentiality, integrity and discretion

The salary for this position is approximately £34,500 per annum, making it an attractive offer for nursing professionals.
