We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Holroyd Howe, a prestigious education setting. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Head Chef in menu planning and food preparation
  • Leading a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
  • Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
  • Managing kitchen inventory and supplies
  • Collaborating with the Head Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A progressive career in culinary management
  • Excellent presentation, organisational and communication skills
  • A real passion for food and customer service
  • Good Health & Safety knowledge
  • Ability to work within set budgets
  • Knowledge of cost and menu planning
  • Familiarity with training and coaching a team
