Our care home, Greenacre Park, provides a homely and supportive environment, with 28 large bedrooms and a team of experienced healthcare professionals.

The Role

We are seeking a Unit Manager to lead our nursing team and oversee the delivery of high-quality care to our residents. As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of Registered Nurses, Nurse Associates, and Health Care Assistants, driving quality and maintaining high standards of care on your unit.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Leads the units care and nursing teams to ensure we meet the medical, physical, and emotional needs of our residents
  
• Provides strong leadership to maintain and continuously develop high standards of care and drive continuous improvement
  
• Oversees and manages all clinical elements and risks on the unit
  
• Ensures care plans and risk assessments are completed and reviewed in a timely manner and reflect care interventions appropriately
  
• Acts as the Named Nurse for residents allocated to you, with responsibility for the oversight, review, and update of their care profiles
  
• Supervises and manages the units ordering, handling, storage, administration, recording, and disposal of medication
  

You

We are looking for a Registered Nurse with post-registration and management or supervisory experience and/or training or qualifications. You will have a thorough understanding of best practice in nursing care, excellent clinical and communication skills, and an enthusiastic approach to encouraging and motivating people. You must have a first-level nursing registration with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN.
