Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Group Energy and Sustainability Officer to join our Asset Management team. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering energy management and sustainability initiatives that support our vision for a more sustainable future.

Main Responsibilities

Deliver energy management and associated analytic activity, including energy efficiency assessment and planning, and a range of sustainability activities and initiatives.

Work with colleagues across the organisation to identify and deliver innovative and sustainable energy reducing measures in new build, retrofit, and planned maintenance projects.

Establish and maintain effective monitoring and evaluation measures of new and existing renewable installations or tracking effectiveness of fabric first interventions.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who is not only technically proficient but also an inspiring advocate in the field of energy and sustainability.

Educated to HND/Diploma or equivalent in construction, building, or energy/engineering related field, you will evidence knowledge and skill across energy management and procurement, corporate sustainability, communal/district heating, energy efficiency, and renewable energy.

You will have experience of managing energy and sustainability housing initiatives in housing maintenance or a development environment, as well as a good working knowledge of building technology, energy related regulation across social and private rented sector.
