We are currently seeking a renewable energy consultant; this could be a graduate or someone with more experience looking for a change of career. However, applicants must have a engineering based degree.
In this role, you will receive training and be responsible for:
- Your duties will include liaising with installation companies and end users, calculating energy usage and performance, and processing gathered information into a coherent format that is Ofgem-friendly.
- You will be responsible for carrying out site visits across the UK to advise on technical compliance with government schemes.
This is a customer and stakeholder-focused role, so excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, this includes being fluent in English. You must also be competent with Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word and Excel, and have excellent organisational skills. The ability to work independently and prioritise workload, as well as manage high workloads across multiple projects and clients, is also crucial. A degree or HND in an engineering discipline is essential.
