Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the development of technical solutions as a member of a project team. Reporting to Technical Leads and directly to the customer, you will be responsible for designing and developing solutions based on customer or internally derived requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of technical solutions to complex issues, collaborating with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Develop and validate design solutions, ensuring they meet customer and quality standards.
  • Review and check design work and technical reports, providing guidance and direction to junior engineers.
  • Conduct technical analysis and investigations, preparing reports with recommendations to resolve problems and improve engineering capability.
  • Plan, deliver, and monitor assigned projects or work packages, ensuring requirements are met within agreed timelines.

Requirements:

  • Experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong understanding of design development and technical analysis.
  • Proven track record of leading technical teams and delivering projects to plan.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
