Communications Systems Director

We are seeking an experienced Unified Communications Team Leader to oversee the design, maintenance, and improvement of our Messaging and Collaboration Systems on-premise and in the cloud.
In this role, you will lead a team of technical engineers, manage multiple workloads, and ensure operational stability and service excellence.
Main Responsibilities- Accountable for all Unified Communication services, upgrades, changes, and service improvements.
- Manage all changes to identify risk and operational impact.
- Oversee a team of technical engineers to ensure timely completion of project work and tasks.
- Maintain an up-to-date resource plan and schedule work accordingly.
- Manage incidents, problems, and changes in line with our ITIL framework.
- Ensure up-to-date documentation for Service Continuity, Incident Response Plans, and Technical Diagrams.
- Conduct regular one-to-one meetings to ensure agreed processes are understood and followed.
- Drive forward training requirements and create training plans.
- Extensive experience managing a technical team.
- Experience and knowledge of Unified Communication technology.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-motivation and the ability to prioritise proactively.
- Excellent planning and resource planning skills.
