We are seeking a skilled Production Team Lead to join our team at Tech Connect Group.

This is a key role in our management team, as we look to implement new structures into our manufacturing processes. You will be afforded a great deal of freedom and scope to make the role your own, as we look to entrust the right individual to drive our business forward.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leading and mentoring manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production processes.
  2. Collaborating with our Quality Control team to implement new procedures and improve quality.
  3. Building a close-knit production team to ensure efficient manufacturing processes.
  4. Being visible on the shop-floor, with a hands-on approach to work and management.
  5. Coordinating and planning production activities.
Essential Skills
  1. Proven experience in managing and leading manufacturing teams.
  2. Experience in various manual manufacturing processes.
  3. Proficiency in MRP and ERP software.
  4. Able to understand and deal with a range of manufacturing processes, from metalwork to elastomers.
  5. Strong attention to quality and process improvement.
  6. Proactive in identifying areas for improvement and implementing change.
  7. Excellent scheduling and organization skills.
  8. Good understanding of materials and manufacturing processes.
Desirable Skills
  1. Six Sigma knowledge to Green Belt level.
  2. Experience with Pegasus Opera ERP software.
  3. Knowledge of seal and gasket materials.
  4. Understanding of EMC/RFI product knowledge.
  5. Experience in the Defence Industry.
