Educating and supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities is at the heart of everything we do at Empowering Learning. We are currently recruiting for a SEND specialist assistant to join our dedicated team of educators.

About the Role

In this key support role, you will work closely with our teaching staff to deliver tailored educational programs that meet the unique needs of each student. You will be responsible for supporting students in their lessons, managing their individualized learning plans, and providing assistance with daily living tasks when required.

We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for working with children and young people who face challenges in accessing education. If you have experience working with students with SEND and are comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support to students in lessons and during school activities
  • Manage pupils' personalized learning plans based on their individual needs
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and hygiene
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to deliver high-quality education
