Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our growing cybersecurity team. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities in our applications, networks, and processes through ongoing penetration testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify vulnerabilities in our applications, networks, and processes through ongoing penetration testing.
  • Collaborate with internal IT, development, and operations teams to investigate security events, prepare for incident response, and remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of IT, Engineering, SRE, or application development combined with 1-2 years in cybersecurity or related field, with a thorough understanding of tactics, tools, and procedures used by attackers stemming from practical experience detecting, exploiting, and remediating/mitigating vulnerabilities.
  • Proficiency with security tools and technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS/SOAR/SIEM technologies, log analysis engines, and the ability to investigate security incidents and determine root cause.
  • Knowledge of OWASP and web application vulnerabilities, detection, exploitation, and remediation.
  • Experience with scripting or programming languages for understanding the root cause of vulnerabilities, automating tasks, and developing security solutions.
  • Experienced with network penetration testing, including the use of port scanners, vulnerability scanners, automated exploitation frameworks, and manual exploit creation.
