Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Assistant Manager to join our client's team in Canary Wharf. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of the business, including invoicing, financial reporting, and payroll.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance/accountancy, with previous experience in a similar role within a construction company. You should be proficient in using Microsoft Excel and have excellent communication skills.

This is a permanent full-time role, requiring someone who is highly organized, able to multitask, and has a strong work ethic. The role involves working 5 days a week in the office, with only very occasional work from home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the commercial aspects of the business, including invoicing and financial reporting
  • Process payroll and manage timesheets
  • Assist with proposals and commercial/financial processing
Requirements
  • AAT level 3 or above or recent graduate with a financial degree
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a construction company
  • Competent in using Microsoft Excel
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including a pension scheme, annual leave, and professional development opportunities.
