Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our Clinical Governance Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, directing, and completing rigorous audits/inspections across Shaw healthcare settings registered with national regulators.
Key Responsibilities- Liaison with Operational Teams: Liaise with individual Service Managers, operational management teams, and Shaw head office colleagues to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Compliance Audits: Conduct audits in line with an agreed programme, observing and reporting on the well-being of people using the service.
- Reporting and Communication: Relay outcomes of compliance audits, setting requirements and timescales for completion with Service Managers and operational management teams, and producing reports.
- Caseload Management: Maintain oversight and management of a caseload of regulated services, ensuring required audits are completed and monitoring levels of risk.
- General Management Responsibilities: Plan, organise, liaise and conduct Compliance Audits in all Shaw healthcare settings registered with CQC/CIW/Care Inspectorate & Healthcare Improvement Scotland.
- Excellent Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical, clinical, auditing and presentation skills.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Good knowledge and understanding of the regulatory framework influencing all registered settings.
- Experience and Qualifications: Proven experience and qualifications within health and social care including management certification.
- Communication Skills: Ability to collect evidence objectively to make informed decisions about quality of care.
- Positive Approach: Positive, honest, open and constructive approach when inspecting/auditing.
