About the Role

Red Kite School, a specialist school in Aylesbury, is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join their team. As a key member of the school's clinical team, you will work closely with educators, therapists, and other professionals to develop and implement therapeutic programs that support the needs of students with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead therapeutic programs for students with complex needs, including autism, intellectual disability, and mental health needs.
  • Collaborate with educators and therapists to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Conduct assessments and provide psychological interventions to support students' social, emotional, and behavioral development.
  • Work closely with parents and caregivers to ensure that students receive consistent support and guidance.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop strategies for improvement.

Requirements

  • Postgraduate doctoral level qualification in Psychology (clinical, counselling, forensic).
  • Registered with the HCPC and BPS.
  • Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams and working with students with complex needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of key partners, including educators, therapists, and other professionals.
